1. About Playground

2. Acceptance
By creating an account or using Playground, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Playground.
4. What Playground does
Playground helps people discover and coordinate real-life social opportunities, including friends, dates, and other in-person plans. Playground may use profile details, preferences, timing, general location, and activity in the app to surface people, places, and meetup suggestions.
5. Your account
You are responsible for your account and for the activity that happens on it. You must provide accurate information and keep your login details secure. You may not sell, transfer, or share your account.
6. Balloons and payments
Playground may offer one-off digital purchases called Balloons. Balloons are meetup credits used to confirm a meetup or unlock an applicable paid feature in the app.
When a Balloon is used, it is consumed. Balloons:
- have no cash value;
- are non-transferable;
- are not refundable except where required by law or under the relevant app store’s rules.
7. Your content
You may upload photos, profile details, messages, preferences, prompts, and other content.
You are responsible for the content you share and confirm that you have the right to share it.
8. Rules
You must not:
- break any law;
- impersonate anyone or mislead others;
- harass, threaten, exploit, or harm anyone;
- post illegal, abusive, fraudulent, or misleading content;
- share someone else’s private information without permission;
- spam, scam, scrape, crawl, reverse engineer, or automate access to the app;
- use the app for commercial solicitation without our permission;
- use the app in connection with minors or unlawful sexual content.
9. Safety
Any in-person meetup is at your own risk. Playground helps people connect, but you remain responsible for your own decisions, conduct, and safety.
10. Moderation and enforcement
We may investigate reports, remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or terminate access where we reasonably believe this is necessary to protect users, enforce these Terms, prevent abuse or fraud, or comply with law.
We may review messages or other content only if a user report, safety issue, abuse investigation, or legal obligation makes that necessary.
11. Account deletion and termination
You may delete your account at any time from within the app or by contacting hello@playground-app.io.
If you delete your account, we will delete your account data without unnecessary delay, unless we are required to keep limited information by law or to investigate a report, or legal claim.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or create risk for other users or for Playground.
12. Intellectual property
The app, its design, software, branding, and all related intellectual property, other than your content, belong to Playground Social Ltd or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse engineer any part of the app except where the law allows it.
13. Disclaimers
Playground is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or any particular result from using the app.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Playground Social Ltd and its affiliates, directors, employees, and service providers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or opportunity arising from your use of the app.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice. Continued use of Playground after the updated Terms take effect means you accept them.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law says otherwise.
